There’s something extra special about photographing love in a place that feels like home.

Palm Springs is my hometown, so coming back to photograph an engagement session here always feels a little nostalgic. The desert light, towering palms, mountain views, and mid-century architecture are all so familiar to me, but getting to experience them through my couples makes the city feel new every time.

We kept the afternoon relaxed, wandering through Palm Springs and letting the surroundings naturally become part of their story. A mix of editorial portraits, movement, and those quiet in-between moments that I’m always drawn to.

There’s an effortless romance to the desert that I’ll never get tired of photographing—and getting to create here, in the place where my own story began, makes it even more meaningful.
